South of Paraguay (southern hemisphere) in such a way that we
deseasonalize its presence in the European markets and we extend its
availability between March and June.

Our History

Off season production in
the Southern Hemisphere

Currently the bright red persimmon reaches the European markets
between October and January. It is a seasonal fruit produced mainly in
Europe, Spain being the world’s leading producer of this variety, from
where it is exported to more than 70 countries

In Frutas Del Paraguay we plant and produce this variety of persimmon
in the south of Paraguay (southern hemesphere) in such a way that we
de-seasonalize its presence in the European markets and we extend its
availability between March and June.

It is interesting above all to expand the fruit available on the market in the
month of April, when the citrus season is in decline and the summer stone
fruit has not yet arrived.
